As of July, 1999, "The First of May" is closing a domestic theatrical
deal with a distinguished company. William L. Whitacre is representing
the producers on this agreement, and has represented the production
company SHO Entertainment from structuring the option agreement
with the author of The Golden Days, to preparing the investment
structures for financing the film, and doing all of the production
legal requirements. This film is an example of our firm's commitment
to supporting independent film producers at all stages of a project.
